As many already know, much is changing with the second semester schedule. Mr. Guthrie will now be working all day in the school so many night classes will be changing.
BAND will be held periods 2b and 4b. Arrangements for the students able to attend those periods have been made by Mrs. Pearsall. The band will also meet on Wednesdays during Pony Time to combine the groups of band students and the few students who could not take band during 2b and 4b.
SELECT CHOIR will be Period 1a. The students unable to attend that period will be encouraged to do independent study. The group will meet with all members during Pony Time on Tuesdays.
Jazz Band will continue to meet on Monday nights but there will be a change. Orchestra will be moving to Mondays. The two classes will alternate weekly in two time slots from 4-5:30pm and 6-8:00pm. Adult members unable to attend the early time slot will be able to participate in both courses because of the alternating schedule.
A Rock Ensemble and possibly a Jazz combo will be added to the day schedule. We are currently looking for interested students to find the best time to offer this class. Options include: 2A, 3A. 3B, 4A, 5A and 5B (though some juggling will need to be done). If you are interested, please let me know when you are available.
