SELECT CHOIR: Meeting (2:45 to 3:00) in the Music Room – It is Mandatory. See Mr. Ellis early in the day if you have a schedule conflict.
Wednesday (10/12): Last chance for Jazz Band Auditions! See Mr. Ellis to schedule an audition. You MUST have an audition to be in the FA Jazz Band.
• Music Booster and Student Music Council meeting Canceled – now next week.
Thursday (10/13): Beg. Strings (5:00), Int. Strings (5:45), Adv. Strings (6:30).
And, Parent Teacher Conferences (3-8)
Friday (10/14): Pep Band! Percussion and keys – 5:30. All others – 6:30 in the stands. Also Friday: Robbie & Taryn are auditioning for Jazz All State today- wish them luck!
Saturday (10/15): The choir MAY open for the Over EZ Band at the Center Theatre. It is most likely that this performance will move to November 19th.
AND, starting SOON in the evenings!
Jazz Band will start Monday NEXT WEEK (the 17th, 6-8 pm).
Select Choir will start NEXT WEEK (Wed 6-7:30 and Fri. 3-4:30).
Percussion, Brass, & Woodwind Ensembles start NEXT WEEK (Tuesday the 18th & Thursday the 20th, 6-7 pm each night).
Full Orchestra will start the week after (October 25th and 27th). Rehearsals will run from 7:15 to 8:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Pinch of Ginger (Formerly The Big Whoops) will begin rehearsals on Nov. 4th (3-5), given that music has been written by the band members by Oct. 28th.
